We're glad that you want to join Clan [uBp]™. This page shows you our rules and how to join. Please read the whole page carefully before submitting a join request.

• Make sure you understand the general clan rules (Click here).
• Must be at least 13 years old. (See below).
• Submit a join request. (Click here)
• SUBMIT ONLY ONE JOIN REQUEST!  IF YOU SUBMIT MORE THE ONE YOU WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!
• Do not put '[uBp]' or any variation as part of your nick name.
• An e-mail with some general information will be sent soon, after an administrator verifies the information that you have provided.
• If you submit a request that has a user name that is not appropriate you will be asked to change the name and to submit a new one.
• If you submit an invalid email address you will not be accepted.
• If an email address is already being used in the clan you cannot use it again.
• The password you chose is what you will use to log into the forums and must be no less then five and no more then sixteen characters in length.
• Once you receive a confirmation email with some general information, follow the instructions it contains so you can login to our system for the first time.  Please be patient with us, as the email and acceptance process is not automated and we can get busy at times.
• Download Ventrilo for voice talking with others online.  Our server supports both Macintosh and Windows based computers, as well as both Broad-Band and Dialup connections.
• Get to know the site, the people in your division, the rules for your division and the clan, and learn who to talk to if you have a problem.
• Visit the forums and main website often as we do keep track of how active you are in the clan, and if you do not stay active you risk losing your membership.

• No profanity, offensive or mature content, sexually explicit, degrading, racist or otherwise objective materials.
• No references (including web links and acronyms) to profanity, offensive or mature content or otherwise objective materials.
• No posting on controversial topics such as religion, politics, Squeeg's finger, war, etc...
• No bashing of other members, other clans, ex-members, any people, those people's pets, Squeeg's finger, people's choice of video game system, etc...
• No illegal activities, including but not limited to:
• Copying (without consent) of any intellectual properties.
• Use of illegal substances or talk of.
• Any other activity that has been deemed 'illegal' by a court of law in the United States of America.
• No cheating, hacking or exploiting in any game.
• No 'spamming', which includes:
• Jumping channels in Ventrilo.
• Sending multiple messages (via instant message programs, in-game, forums or Ventrilo) to multiple or one person in rapid succession.
• Leaving a microphone 'open' or 'hot' while in Ventrilo.
• Sending of bulk unsolicited email.
• No attempting to circumvent the 'chain of command'.
• No attempting to start a new clan or group within Clan [uBp]™.
• No recruiting for another clan or group while you are in Clan [uBp]™.
• If you do start a group while in Clan [uBp]™ and are using the clan's resources, you shall:
• Obtain a division leader or founder's permission before starting this group.
• Include Clan [uBp]™ somewhere in its description and/or name.
• Abide by all the rules and regulations of Clan [uBp]™.
• Mini-divisions:
• Can be started if at least 15 people sign a petition in the Clan [uBp]™ forums.
• Those 15 people have to prove they are active in the game.
• Of those 15, one person shall be named as the 'division leader'.
• The game cannot be in the development stages (beta, alpha, etc...)
• This mini-division creation and continued existance is subject to the founder's perogative.
• Ventrilo usage is mandatory.
• If you have a good excuse, we can make exceptions, but they are on a per-member basis.
• If you are under-age and cannot get your parent/guardian's permission, please inform your division leader.
• No custom phonetics are allowed in Ventrilo.
• If there is a division website, it should not contain a separate forum apart from the main Clan [uBp]™ forums and the website must conform to all the other rules listed here.
• These rules are subject to change and it is the member's responsibility to stay up-to-date with the rules.
• While gaming in a Clan [uBp]™ server, you have to wear the 'official' Clan [uBp]™ tags appropriate to the game.
• The 'official' tags are: [uBp] username
• Games such as NwN where characters have been made before joining the clan are exempt, as it is nearly impossible to change a character's name after its created.
• See your division forums for correct tags.
• While you are in a public server you should wear the tags, and you should follow all the other Clan [uBp]™ rules.
